„Birthday.. hooray, here we are!“
That’s how it sounded in December 2005, when LAMINIM saw the light of day and with it the first release [lam001] / VA – Winter Compilation 2006 was brought to the people.
„… Good day, my name is laminim. I’m new here – we don’t know each other yet! I’m a thing where you can hear electronic music, far from collecting societies. A thing where artists can present themselves, who haven’t been discovered by many labels or not yet. A thing, which is also a large and colorful playground for newcomers.„
„There are already a whole bunch of brothers and sisters of mine, I don’t know them all myself. However, there can never be enough of us, because there are no limits to the creativity of the artists in our family. We can only be found on the net and you have to download the music from us… but you may already know that, as a willing friend of the netlabel and netaudio community.“
„And as promised, you’re getting our first release for download today, right on time for the holiday! Be excited, because we are too!„

how it came to be ?
The year is 1997…
Rumor had it that there would soon be a new radio station. Listen up!
Besides VIVA and MTV as TV offerings, there was already electronic music on the ears acoustically from Radio Fritz & Sunshine Live.
Suddenly, Evosonic-Radio saw the light of day… and it changed everything. Although the history of Evosonic was not to last very long, unfortunately.
Inspired and full of energy, the website „www.artofelectronicsound.de“ was created in 2002. An information portal about electronic music and its origins. Over the years, this site developed further. Festival reports, reviews of new releases and a weekly live stream were added.
3 years later (2005), somewhere in the World Wide Web, the site „www.techno-house-electro.de“ (created from www.schwingdeintanzbein.de) was founded, which also dealt with topics related to electronic music. We sniffed each other out, got to know each other… and „merged“ in the same year into a, partly joint project.
From that point on, everything happened in rapid succession. The forum grew, the number of listeners and visits increased. They turned their backs on the commercial exploitation companies and focused on netaudio and the netlabel scene. The weekly live stream became a 24/7 netaudio radio stream with interviews, presentations of new netaudio releases as well as various live broadcasts and live sets. And in the same year, the netlabel Laminim was founded.
As quickly as all this happened, it was all over again at the end of 2006. The focus changed and suddenly other important topics were on the agenda.
And now, in 2025, we are back and starting where we left off.
